I have a strange thing to request of you. It’s literally anything. I would like anything from you. I would pay something to be on an email list, where you literally send us anything. I grew up listening to your music in Relient K. I played covers of your songs, I studied and laughed at your lyrical wit.
I made this literally to tell you that, because I’m thinking/hoping there are others like me… hopefully enough to make it a viable ask.
I wish to stay connected, but you are as elusive as you are witty. I appreciate that. But if there were any way to just have a private email list, where you just send us a random thought, update, voice memo talking about what’s up, voice memo of a melodic idea, rough selfie video of some music or something you’re working on… heck it could literally be anything. I just want to continue to be connected with what you’re doing.
Sometimes, we engage with the art of somebody else in such a way that would last a lifetime. I have very few people on that list for me. You are one of them.
I might be wrong, but I think there may be at least a few others out there like me in some ways who might want to be on this list of yours. I have a few friends, and we each feel like we are in some small secret group of people who were heavily influenced by you during our adolescence.
So if this email list grows big enough, who knows! Maybe it’d actually happen!
I imagine something like a $1.99/month subscription to a private email list, where you just freely send us whatever you want, whenever you want. You don’t owe us anything. We don’t expect anything specific. I’d just like knowing that I’m sending money to you, to do as you please with (give away, keep, what-have-you, etc), and then you exist in a freely open relationship with those of us who would like to be a part of and support anything you do.
